Ramadan Image

[50.22] Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp A view into the old, from the really old. For some reason I think this image captures my Ramadan spirit more than others. The Mosque is the earning of the soul to purify itself during this blessed month - when all feelings become more acute - the soul is wretched, old and weathered - deep cracks appear on the facade, but they go much deeeper. Right through the heart they pierce my soul. The wall is there to protect the castle keep, but equally, walls divide and separate - hence it will not be in my power to scale them, unless I hold fast to Him, One and Only Reality. I will see then, how things really are with veils of Unreality removed. Being too weak, how one can scale even a small obstacle like this. Better to stay in one peace, but forever distant. Or shall I try?

Let me guess...
Is this photo from Bakuvian village of N...n? This is the XIV century castle, and behind is the shrine of Rahima khanum, if I am not mistaken...

When the spiritual cracks start appearing, it is a good sign of progress.
